Order Reading GOALS Test Booklets

The Reading GOALS 900 series test booklets (Forms 901-908) are ready for purchase on the CASAS website at: www.casas.org/product-overviews/assessments/order-reading-goals. Order now, shipping will start in June 2018.

Reading GOALS is the newest reading series developed by CASAS. Use the progress tests (pre- and post) in this essential reading comprehension series to monitor the progress of your ABE/ASE/HSE students. This competency-based series helps to identify the reading skills that your students need as you prepare them to function successfully in today's society and transition to post secondary education and training.

Reading GOALS has been approved for NRS reporting purposes through February 5, 2025 for ABE and ASE programs. Test content is aligned with College and Career Readiness (CCR) Standards for Adult Education. Comprehension questions draw on higher order reading skills, including citing evidence from complex texts. New question types include Sentence Completion and an “Item Families” approach. Both computer-based and paper-based administration will be available. NRS ABE/ASE levels will be covered in four test levels.
