CASAS is pleased to announce that the Reading GOALS 900 series (Forms 901-908) has been approved for NRS reporting purposes through February 5, 2025 for ABE and ASE programs. Test content is aligned with College and Career Readiness (CCR) Standards for Adult Education. Comprehension questions draw on higher order reading skills, including citing evidence from complex texts. New question types include Sentence Completion and an “Item Families” approach. Both computer-based and paper-based administration are available. NRS ABE/ASE levels are covered in four test levels.
