Transition to Postsecondary
Students transitioning to postsecondary education need strong core foundation skills to enter and complete postsecondary education. In addition to solid reading and math skills, they must have the essential written composition, critical thinking, problem solving, and computer literacy skills. CASAS offers assessments to help students transition to postsecondary education and training.
The National External Diploma Program (NEDP) is a unique option for adults to earn a high school diploma. NEDP awards a traditional high school diploma to adults who have acquired many of their high school level abilities through work, family, and community experiences.
NEDP prepares students for academic success at the postsecondary level through a rigorous performance assessment process of 70 competencies essential for postsecondary academic and workforce success.
