The 2025-2026 Application Window is Now Open!

CASAS is excited to announce the 2025-2026 Changing Lives Scholarship, which provides tuition assistance for three NEDP graduates who are pursuing postsecondary education. This scholarship is designed to help you attend an accredited public or nonprofit postsecondary institution, including vocational schools, community colleges, or universities offering certificates, associate degrees, or four-year degrees.

We will award three $500 scholarships to NEDP graduates!

ELIGIBILITY

If you have completed all NEDP requirements between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026, you are eligible to apply.

Application Process

Step 1: Complete the Changing Lives Scholarship Application

Include your contact information.
Submit a well-written essay (approximately 500 words) explaining:
- How the NEDP changed your life.
- How the NEDP has influenced your decision to pursue postsecondary education or training.

Step 2: Submit Your Application by 11:59 P.M. PT on July 15, 2026

Applications must be submitted via the official NEDP application form.
The form timestamp will determine the cutoff.
CASAS will acknowledge receipt of your application.

Step 3: Submit a Letter of Recommendation

Your advisor/assessor (or another NEDP staff member if unavailable) must submit a Changing Lives Scholarship Letter of Recommendation form.
The letter must also be submitted by 11:59 P.M. PT on July 15, 2026 (NEDP application form timestamp applies).
CASAS/NEDP will confirm receipt of the letter of recommendation.
