What Are Appraisals?

Appraisals provide a quick, general indicator of reading, math, or listening abilities.

Why Use Appraisals?

  • Determine program eligibility
  • Identify the best program fit
  • Place students within the appropriate level
  • Select the correct pretest for progress testing. Appraisals may never be used as a pre- and post-test to measure progress.
