Level A Listening Items for ESL

Invitation to Participate in Field Testing

Give your adult ESL students the opportunity to try out the new CASAS listening test items. The new test items are specifically designed for ESL learners and align to the English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS) for Adult Education and recently published NRS Descriptors for English Language Learners.

• When can I field test? October 7 through December 31, 2019
• Who is eligible? ESL learners at Level A
• What are my testing options? CASAS eTests Online
• Methodology: Students will take one or two field tests in Listening.
• Timing: Allow students up to one hour to complete each field test.
• Technology requirements: Computers with working audio and headsets with individual volume controls for each test-taker.
